Highland Park, IL, February 1, 2010 - 2010 marks the launch of BLOOM INTUITIVE, a brand new venture for Larry Bloom, a Highland Park, Illinois business owner and entrepreneur who has managed his own graphic design and web development company for the last 13 years.
Bloom Intuitive is a new consultancy dedicated to helping clients see results through the insight and experience he has gained from more than 20 years as a manager and strategic thinker. Specifically, the new company will focus on a more holistic approach to developing and maintaining an online presence – focusing on strategy, branding, marketing, social media and search engine optimization (SEO). Its sister company, ATI Graphics, started by Bloom in 1997, will continue to focus on creative design and the nuts-and-bolts of web development, as well as corporate photography and digital imaging services.
“Over the last couple of years, I have seen more and more that while many companies have well-designed websites, those sites aren’t really working for them,” says Bloom. “They may be attractive and visually stimulating, but they don’t convert the curious to the motivated. What is missing is a strategy for ensuring the website complements and enhances other marketing and promotional efforts.”
Bloom Intuitive was born out of a question that has resonated with new and existing clients alike: What kind of employee is your website? Does it sit on its ass all day, costing you money, or does it generate leads and help you succeed? That question has been posted by Bloom on numerous occasions. While it often gets a quick chuckle, colleagues clearly understand the point: you wouldn’t allow one of your employees to not perform or “phone it in,” so why would you accept anything less from your website, which is the first line of contact for the majority of your customers?
Bloom’s message appears to be working; in this tough economy, he has been as busy as ever, with 2009 marking ATI Graphics’ highest top-line gross in the history of the business. He expects to cultivate similar success with Bloom Intuitive.
”Understanding trends and getting ahead of the curve in order to be competitive is the type of strategic thinking that Bloom Intuitive can bring to clients,” adds Bloom.
The good news in this poor economy is that businesses are beginning to rethink their approach to their websites, including how to maximize social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to help brand their companies and generate new and renewed interest.
“Technology changes the way we do business. The Internet has changed technology and social media is changing the Internet. For businesses to stay competitive, they need to understand what is happening in the online arena and how it applies and can be applied to traditional business practices.”
